Here Are Some Common Issues With TV's

TV Will Not Turn On
Could be:
  • Stand-by mode fault.  Possible cause: Main Board
  • Primary power circuit damage. Possible cause: Main Board
  • Power supply failure power. Possible cause: Power Supply Board
TV Has No Picture

Could be:

  • Backlight malfunction
  • LCD polarizer / reflector damage. Possible cause: Screen
  • Image scanner malfunction Possible cause: T-Con Board
Screen Has Lines

Could be: 

  • LCD / matrix decoders malfunction. Possible cause: Screen
  • Image scanner malfunction. Possible cause: T-Con Board 
  • Video adapter malfunction. Possible cause: Main Board
No Sound
Could Be:
  • Signal source connectors damage
  • Mainboard elements damage
  • Mainboard / T-CON short circuit
No WiFi

Could Be: 

  • Wireless module malfunction
  • Mainboard firmware errors
  • Mainboard / T-CON short circuit
Remote Not Working

Could Be:

  • Tuner fault
  • Infrared receiver malfunction
  • Mainboard / T-CON short circuit
No Signal

Could Be:

  • Signal source connectors damage

Something About Screens

Screens are the most expensive part of a TV. Any physical damage to screen can not repaired, so they must be replaced. The cost replace a screen is 60% the cost of the TV. We don't replace screens.
